In this street dance tutorial for beginners, discover street dance moves drawn from one of the earlier styles in street dance – locking/ lockin’.

In this street dancing lesson, you’ll have a number of hip hop moves (also known as a funk style) from this style broken down step by step, teaching by Strawberry KS. Follow the instructions and by the end all the street dance moves you’ll be learning in the video class are combined into a short dance routine.

This street dancing instructional covers a number of the basics of locking so you can learn at as a dance style in its own right, as it is often seen mixed with other hip hop dance styles such as popping and today’s newer hip hop dancing styles as well.
