Comics try to have a stronger relationship with the real world than anime does. Yes, they are cartoons, but they have human premises within themselves. ANime, on the other hand, portrays a world that may possess human traits, but the stories follow schemes in which are more related to a fantasy world outside of human existence than comics would.

So entertainment is not productive to society?

They aren’t trying to be cartoons, they’re portraying characters like any other actor or actress does.

And they TOTALLY have it in the US. People do cosplay all the time. Have you ever seen any super hero movie ever? Granted, they may not dance, but they’re still dressing up as cartoon characters.

You are comparing apples with airplanes. I am not against these actresses, but all I said is that they are bizarre. A construction worker is building something productive to our society, whereas people who are trying to be cartoons lack the premises in which a construction worker is attained to do. I do not discriminate people who decide to make a living dancing in cartoon costumes, but it is bizarre, and that is the reason they don’t have it in the U.S.
