What do you think about pole dancing classes?

I think it would be fun to learn how to pole dance, and maybe even install a pole in our bedroom, which has high enough ceilings for it. I know that they have classes, but I was wondering if anyone on here has taken these classes, and what is it like? Would you recommend it for my purpose?

By the way, I have 12 years of dancing experience, so I can handle the physical exertion involved. I would love any information about this topic!

It is fun!! I am a USPDF member & it totally feels like youre flying :) Pretty much everybody who tries it, loves it. Its harder than you think at first, but you can do it! I have an X-pole which is $300 but its totally worth it, it can be static or in spinny mode so it rotates. Its a blast. I took a few lessons & all the girls are sooo nice & not judgemental. I have found that the average age for most studios is around 30. Hopefully you have a good studio near you. I think you’ll love it, esp if you have dance experience. You wont regret it :)
